- Contact and quote forms: When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, suburb, and any additional information you choose to provide.
- Tool usage: When you use our OTP Creator or Lease Agreement Creator, we may collect the information you enter to generate your document (such as property details and parties' information).
- Browsing data: We collect standard server logs, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to operate and improve the website.
- Cookies: We use cookies to remember your preferences (such as cookie consent status) and to gather anonymised analytics data. See section 7 below.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected:
- To respond to your enquiry or quote request;
- To provide the tools and services you have requested;
- To generate documents you have requested using our tools;
- To communicate with you about your matter, including by WhatsApp if you have consented;

- To improve the functionality and content of this website.
We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it in the following limited circumstances:

- Professional obligations: As a law practice, we may be required to comply with anti-money laundering and FICA obligations, which may involve sharing information with the Financial Intelligence Centre.

- Right to correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Right to deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.

- Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at www.justice.gov.za/inforeg/.

5. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Conveyancing records are subject to minimum retention periods under South African law. General enquiry information is typically retained for 5 years.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. This includes encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
